PS3 Game Reviews Coming!

On November 17, 2006 the PlayStation 3 launched at an MSRP $600 in the United States, and because of this, nobody on the GamersCast Staff was able to afford the console, and thus we were unable to put out reviews for it. But now, I am happy to report that from Sony's latest press conference at E3 2008, along with the latest price cut down to $400, that Adam Shear was able to pick up the console.

So now, Adam Shear will begin making game reviews for PlayStation 3 titles!

With the addition of PlayStation 3, GamersCast now makes game reviews for all major game platforms!

GamersCast Review Cleanup

Some of you may have already noticed this, but recently I have stopped putting audio reviews embedded into my posts here. Why? Well, before when there was a page filled with just embedded audio reviews it caused many people's computers to crash. And so now, I am now only making short posts linking to the full review on the GamersCast website, where you will also be able to find the audio reviews.

As embedded YouTube videos currently aren't considered self-loading media, these will continue to be added onto the posts as before. What this means is, it shouldn't cause your computer to crash or freeze.

Now, while this may be helping now, while going into past posts some people's computers are still freezing because of the self-loading media, and so I am now in the process of moving these reviews to the main GamersCast website as the new ones are. So, please just stick with us for the time being. The cleanup period shouldn't take all too long.

UPDATE 2: I fixed all of the typos in the text review. The only reason it was a bit off to begin with was because I typed the whole thing on my iPod Touch, and auto-correct doesn't like me very much. So, that's what happens. But it's all fixed now and can be viewed here.
