Expansion Packs!!

Good news everybody! GamersCast had decided that we will now also be making reviews for expansion packs. The first reviews for DLC will be for Fallout 3's Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt.

Keep in mind, that we are not reviewing all forms of DLC, just expansion packs. So, DLC such as a map pack or a Guitar Hero song will not be reviewed by us (as of now).

And one last minute note, this page is the last place reviews are posted. To know right away when fresh reviews are out, subscribe to our main podcast feed using the links above and our YouTube Channel at:

PS3 Game Reviews Coming!

On November 17, 2006 the PlayStation 3 launched at an MSRP $600 in the United States, and because of this, nobody on the GamersCast Staff was able to afford the console, and thus we were unable to put out reviews for it. But now, I am happy to report that from Sony's latest press conference at E3 2008, along with the latest price cut down to $400, that Adam Shear was able to pick up the console.

So now, Adam Shear will begin making game reviews for PlayStation 3 titles!

With the addition of PlayStation 3, GamersCast now makes game reviews for all major game platforms!

Rockband Review

Is it a Guitar Hero killer?

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Review

With Rockband on the way, and the original creators of Guitar Hero on their side, does this game have what it takes with Activision by their side to still be worth purchasing?

Final Score: 9.5 out of 10

Note: From being lacking in certain features you could shave as much as a point of off the Wii and PS2 versions of the game, though they are still definitely still worth picking up if you do not own multiple consoles that Guitar Hero is available for.

Update: Activision is working on a replacement disc to fix the problems with the Wii version of the game. Click here to find out more!
